Songs for Life & Change:
Since 2000, Traciana has been working with underprivileged children in foster care and prison. Upon the birth of her son in 2008, Traciana realized that she could go one step further and be an active part of the solution for all children in need, particularly in places that were too far to travel to in person.
To serve young people globally, Traciana founded Songs for Life and Change, an international program that uses the powerful tools of songwriting, social media and service to empower students in grades K-12 to connect with children in need around the world. Since 2008 Songs for Life and Change has served over 2,000 elementary and high school students in New York City, Haiti, post-Katrina New Orleans and the New York City foster care system.
For anyone wanting to make a difference in the world in as little as 15 minutes each week, Songs for Life and Change has virtual mentorship and ambassador opportunities.
