The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly of Women In Power
As women step up the career ladder, they often battle other women to break through the glass ceiling. As women struggle to be taken seriously by co-workers that believe women are “emotional” or “soft”, women smother their nurturing, caring voice in the office. This disconnect of voice and action creates a workplace where women cannot be themselves. In addition, it creates angst and stress in an already-competitive environment. This presentation:
- Shares statistics and stories about woman-on-woman workplace bullying and the negative consequences of workplace bullying
- Fosters networking and leadership styles to help women thrive in their careers and personal lives
- Facilitates a dialogue that strengthens community among participants
- Creates a sustainable environment of cooperation and collaboration between women in the workplace
- Helps participants become better equipped to excel professionally
- Addresses strategies to achieve a better work/life balance as women climb the career ladder
After this presentation, women will not only be able to interact with one another in a manner of true collaboration and support, they will help empower one another to use their true voices in the workplace without fear of stereotyping.
